BJP MLA O P Sharma has been suspended for the entire winter session of Delhi Assembly for making alleged derogatory remarks against AAP legislator Alka Lamba. Earlier, Mr. Sharma was suspended for two days on 24th of this month for his comments. He had allegedly used abusive language against Ms Lamba during a discussion on night shelters.<br/><br/>During the proceeding of the house today, AAP MLA Kailash Gehlot moved a resolution against the BJP MLA seeking his suspension which was adopted. Later, Speaker Ram Niwas Goel suspended Mr Sharma for the entire session. Meanwhile, Delhi Assembly Winter Session has been extended till 4th of next month. The session was scheduled to conclude on 28th of this month.
