BJP today alleged that the Malda incident in West Bengal is a planned action and not a communal reaction.<br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in New Delhi party spokesperson Siddharth Nath Singh said, the attack on Kaliachak police station was aimed at destroying evidence. <br/><br/>He said this is a national security issue and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should answer on this issue. <br/><br/>He asked why the West Bengal has not made any effort to stop opium plantation which is flourishing in Malda.<br/><br/>He said the party members will meet home minister Rajnath Singh and seek investigation into the incident by an appropriate agency.<br/><br/>He also informed that the BJP delegation will meet President Pranab Mukherjee very soon on this matter.
