BJP members in the Rajya Sabha today staged a walk out alleging that the government has failed to address the grievances of the cotton growers in the country.

Raising the issue, Senior BJP leader Mr M Venkaiah Naidu demanded that the government should lift ban on cotton exports imposed on 5th of March.

He said the decision has resulted in piling up of stocks and a fall in its price in the market.

Responding to this, the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Mr Rajiv Shukla said that he would convey the feelings of the members to the Commerce Minister.

Dissatisfied with the response, the BJP members walked out of the House.
