BJP meet begins with Gadkari address

Two-day national executive committee meeting of the BJP has begun in Patna with the address of the Party President Nitin Gadkari.<br/><br/>Besides Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states, top party leaders including LK Adwani, Narenrdra Modi, Arun Jaitely Rajnath Singh, and Sushma Swaraj are participating in this meeting .<br/><br/>AIR Patna correspondent reports that the party's political strategy for the coming state Assembly elections in Bihar and the current political Situation in Jharkhand would prominently figure in the meeting . A political resolution will be adopted later.<br/><br/>Problems by the Maoists, performance of the UPA government at the centre and the step motherly treatment towards the non-UPA ruled states would also be discussed during the meet<br/><br/>Senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani and other party leaders have made it clear that in Bihar the BJP is ready to stake its electoral fortune not on its own ideological persuasions but on the popularity and public standing of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar<br/><br/>The executive committee has 352 members including 18 from Bihar. This is the first meeting of the new executive committee formed by the BJP President Nitin Gadkari.
