The BJP Legislative party meeting has begun in Bangalore to select the new Chief Minister of Karnataka. National leaders Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley and Venkaiah Naidu have arrived to oversee the selection of new leader of Karnataka BJP legislative party. In another development, Justice Shivraj Patil was sworn in as the new Lokayuktha of the state by the Governor H R Bharadwaj today. Justice Patil is a retired Judge of the Supreme Court and was appointed to probe 2G scam earlier. Former Judge of Karnataka High Court, R Gururaj was also sworn in as Deputy Lokayuktha.
