BJP leadership has asked party leaders to refrain from making provocative statements on Dadri incident in Uttar Pradesh. Party direction came in the wake of controversial remarks by BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj and others on the incident and cow slaughter. Sources said the leaders have been asked to highlight government's development agenda instead.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, BJP Secretary Shrikant Sharma said such incident is an diversionary tactics to derail the Central government's agenda of development. <br/><br/>He said the Dadri incident is the failure of Uttar Pradesh government as law and order is a state issue.
