In Jammu and Kashmir, a BJP delegation will meet will meet Governor N N Vohra today to discuss its party’s plans over government formation in the state. BJP has expressed hope that formal dialogue between by BJP and PDP will be initiated within the next two days after positive signals from PDP over the issue. BJP said, it will be a part of the next government in the state following the public mandate in its favour and any arrangement that excludes it will be seen as negating it.

Meanwhile, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav said that “an initial contact has been established between the two parties” and that Mehbooba’s comments will help take forward formal discussions. BJP sources said Mehbooba’s remarks will help take the state forward on the path of development by providing a stable Government to the State.
