A four-member delegation of the BJP leaders, including L K Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Murli Manohar Joshi today met the President Mr Pranab Mukherjee over the coal blocks allocation issue at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. Talking to the media after the meeting, Mr Advani said they raised the issue of what he called disrespect by the government of the constitutional bodies like CAG. Mr Advani said, they requested the President to intervene into the matter and advise the government not to criticise such bodies. He said, the President assured the delegation that he will take into consideration their concerns to do appropriate in this regard.
