BJP leaders baselessly blaming Congress, says Sonia; Modi accuses Rahul Gandhi of insulting Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar

Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi today addressed election rallies in Rajasthan.

Addressing an election meeting at Paota in Jaipur Rural constituency, Mrs Gandhi said the BJP leaders were baselessly blaming Congress for not developing the country while the truth is that under the Congress rule India has made remarkable achievements in Agriculture, electricity production, irrigation facilities and road sector in last 67 years.

She said that Congress empowered people by giving them rights. Commenting about Narendra Modi, Mrs Gandhi said that ruling one state is totally different from ruling a big country like India, which need dedication.

Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi addressing an election meeting at Lakshmangarh in Sikar constituency accused Rahul Gandhi of insulting Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar by claiming during campaigning that rights to the people were given by the UPA government. Modi said this work was done by Dr Ambedkar.

He accused the Congress of ignoring Dalits and poor and said that Congress leaders were using unconstitutional language against him in their speeches. Modi said that congress is giving preference to secularism over unemployment, women's security and corruption.
