BJP leader Sinha demands resignation of Gadkari

Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha today demanded resignation of party President Nitin Gadkari over corruption charges againt him. Mr Sinha said Gadkari should immediately step down saying whether he is guilty or not is not the issue. He said the issue is that all those who are in public life should be beyond reproach.

AIR correspondent reports, earlier this month, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Ram Jethmalani and his son Mahesh Jethmalani had also sought Gadkari's resignation in the wake of reports of alleged dubious financing of Purti Group.
