BJP leader Sarbananda Sonowal is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital today.<br/><br/>Mr. Sonowal, who will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Assam next Tuesday, also met party president Amit Shah late last night to discuss government formation in the state.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the first meeting of the BJP Legislature Party in Assam will be held tomorrow to elect Mr. Sonowal as its leader.<br/><br/>The BJP and its allies Asom Gana Parishad and Bodoland People's Front scored a massive victory in the assembly elections, won 87 seats in the 126 member assembly.
