BJP leader Sanjay Joshi has resigned from the party. Mr Joshi, who is a former RSS pracharak and was a general secretary of BJP today requested party President Nitin Gadkari that he be relieved from the party. AIR correspondent reports,the BJP president has accepted his resignation.

Joshi had to resign from the party's National Executive as Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi put this as a condition for him to attend the Mumbai conclave a fortnight ago.
