BJP lashes out at Salman Khurshid for criticizing PM Modi and praising Sharif

BJP today lashed out at former Union Minister and Congress leader Salman Khurshid for criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and praising Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Party Secretary Shrikant Sharma said Mr.Khurshid's comments are insult to the country as he is slamming Mr. Modi even on foreign soil. <br/><br/>Mr. Sharma demanded that Congress President Sonia Gandhi should tender apology for former Union Minister's statements. Two days back, at an event in Islamabad, Mr. Khurshid said India has not responded to Pakistan's overtures for peace in South Asia the way it should have. He also alleged that Mr. Modi is not used to talking to people who disagree with him.

He took a dig at Mr. Khurshid saying his remarks show that he is trying to find a foothold in Pakistan to fight elections as Congress base has shrunk in India. <br/><br/>Mr. Sharma demanded that Congress President Sonia Gandhi should tender apology for former Union Minister's statements. Two days back, at an event in Islamabad, Mr. Khurshid said India has not responded to Pakistan's overtures for peace in South Asia the way it should have. He also alleged that Mr. Modi is not used to talking to people who disagree with him.
