BJP lashes out at Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah for his Hindu terror remarks

BJP today lashed out at Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for his Hindu terror remarks alleging that such comments show the Congress's policy of appeasement and hatred towards Hindus.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Sambit Patra said the comments have unmasked the face of Congress President Rahul Gandhi who was visiting temple to temple during Gujarat assembly polls. Mr. Patra questioned the Karnataka government why it is not arresting BJP and RSS leaders if it feels they are terrorists.

He alleged that the Congress government is not taking action against Popular Front of India and hatching conspiracy against the Hindus. The BJP spokesperson said, same kind of statements were made by the then Home Minister during UPA rule and the Congress had to face defeats in 2014 Lok Sabha polls. He added that the grand old party will have to face the consequences as people will not like such divisive agenda.

Earlier, Siddaramaiah had equated the BJP and RSS with extremists and accused them of fomenting tension in the society. Later, he also used the term Hindu terrorists for the BJP and the RSS people.
