In Manipur, BJP will have a pre-poll alliance with the Manipur People’s Party (MPP) in the state assembly elections which have been scheduled on the 28th of this month.Speaking to media persons at Imphal with MPP President Dr. Nimaichand Luwang, BJP Spokesperson and the party’s in-charge for the state assembly elections of Manipur, Prakash Javadekar said that many non-congress political parties have come to a broad understanding to fight jointly against the ruling Congress in the forthcoming state assembly elections.He also said that peace, development and good governance will be the main issues of the BJP-MPP alliance.
