BJP today said it is ready to apologize to the Muslim community for any mistake and shortcoming whenever and wherever it has been.

Addressing a function in New Delhi, BJP President Rajnath Singh said his party is not against minorities and they should not go by the propaganda against it. He appealed to the community to give it a chance in the next elections and try BJP once and if it does not come up to their expectations, never vote to it again.

Talking about the 2002 Gujarat riots, Mr. Singh accused the Congress of making propaganda against Narendra Modi despite clean chit given by a court.
