BJP on Thursday said that the party is in the favour of small state for better administration but it should be done on proper consultations.

Taking to reporters in New Delhi party spokesperson Nirmala Sitaraman said all parameters regarding creations of separate state must be taken into consideration.

She was reacting on the proposal of Uttar Pradesh government to divide the sate in four parts.
