BJP hopes for previous arrangement with PDP in J&K

BJP today expressed hope that the previous arrangement with PDP in Jammu and Kashmir will continue saying that the two parties are positive over government formation in the state.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi on his meeting with PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar yesterday, BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav said, he had a detailed discussion with PDP Chief over the issue and conveyed that the alliance should continue on the basis of decided Common Minimum Programme (CMP). <br/><br/>He informed that some PDP leaders will come to Delhi in the coming days to meet Union Ministers and BJP leaders over the time -bound implementation of development agenda of CMP. He clarified that there was no talks with Ms Mufti about revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act from the state saying that there will be no dilution and addition in CMP. <br/><br/>BJP leader also maintained, no time line has been set for the formation of new government in J&K. The state is under Governor's Rule since 8th of last month after the sudden death of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
