BJP today hit out at Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his allegations that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is playing politics on the sacrifice of jawans. The party termed the comments as irresponsible. <br/><br/>Talking to AIR, BJP Secretary Sidharth Nath Singh condemned the remarks. He said Mr. Gandhi's comments show he is fully supporting party leader Sanjay Nirupam who had expressed doubts over the recent surgical strike by the Army against terror launch pads at LoC and had demanded proof of the action.<br/><br/>Earlier, addressing a gathering in New Delhi on conclusion of his month long padyatra in view of UP assembly polls, Rahul Gandhi had accused Mr. Modi of making false promises to the people.
