The BJP on Sunday hit out at the Punjab Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak over the issue alleged sexual misconduct with a boy on the promise of a government job. Addressing media in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson Shehjad Poonawala demanded the dismissal of the Minister from the Cabinet as well as an impartial probe in which there should be no role of Punjab Government. Mr. Poonawala said that on the complaint of the victim, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes has issued a notice to the Government of Punjab and Director General of Police. He said, the entire testimony is in video and in forensic report, the video was also found true. The Governor of Punjab has also taken cognisance of the matter after someone's complaint and asked the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to clarify whether such a person can remain in the Cabinet.
