BJP today hit out at the Congress for taking on Army and the government over the Kashmir issue. Briefing media in New Delhi this afternoon, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh said, there is no human rights violation by the Army in the state. He said Congress leaders must stop playing cheap politics over sensitive security issues. He appealed to political sections and Congress to not to indulge in any kind of politicking at the cost of security forces' morale.

The Minister also defended Army Chief's statement that stern actions will be taken against those who are involved in stone pelting in Jammu and Kashmir. Acknowledging that the hostile conduct of locals was causing higher casualties in the Kashmir valley, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Wednesday warned those attacking security forces during anti-militancy operations of tough action.
