BJP on Friday hit back at Congress on its questions over multiple issues related to price rise, unemployment and others, terming them as a bundle of lies. Briefing media in New Delhi, party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said the Indian economy was among fragile five during UPA rule but under the BJP rule it is in the list of top five economies of the world. He added the country's economy was one trillion dollars economy in 2014 but now it is 3.5 trillion dollars. He highlighted that India's retail inflation was 4.7 percent in April this year unlike countries like US, France and Australia where inflation is much higher. Mr. Prasad asserted that the government has been able to check the inflation in the country despite the Ukraine crisis and issues related to the global supply chain. The BJP leader listed several achievements of the Narendra Modi government in the field of defence export, mobile manufacturing, infrastructure development, farmers' welfare and Direct Benefit Transfer.<br />'' <br />''Mr. Prasad also mentioned abrogation of Article 370, banning of Triple Talaq and strong action against terrorism.
