BJP today rejected the Congress allegation that the NDA government's promises remained unfulfilled. The party said NDA government's tenure is a story of fulfilled promises and its action and results are visible. <br/><br/>Party Secretary Shrikant Sharma said there is a slowdown in the world but India has left China behind to become the fastest growing economy. Mr. Sharma said FDI has shown an increase of 40 per cent. He also hit back at Congress saying the UPA government had passed on a very weak economy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been able to lift it up with his tireless work.<br/><br/>Earlier, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram attacked the government over the issue of economy and jobs.
