<span style="color: #222222;">The BJP National President JP Nadda said the Bharatiya Janata Party has not only protected the interests of the Himachal but has also provided many developmental projects and incentives to the state. He alleged that the Congress always compromised the interests of the state. The BJP National President was addressing the public gathering at the ' Abhinandan Samroh' organized at Peterhoff in Shimla on Saturday.<br />'' <br />'' He said the Prime Minister has ensured the welfare of the weaker and backward sections of the society deprived of welfare schemes and as a result of which BJP registered victory in recently held four state elections.<br />'' <br />'' While addressing the gathering Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers Himachal Pradesh as his second home and is always sensitive to the developmental needs of the state. He said the BJP government worked hard during the last four years to make the state a leading state in the country. The Chief Minister said the Central Government has provided special assistance of  800 crore rupees to the State so that the development of the State can take place smoothly. He said all this became possible due to the double-engine government at the Center and the state.<br />'' <br />'' On this occasion, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that BJP will win in Gujarat and Himachal as well. He appreciated the efforts of the state to become a leading state in the country in achieving the target of 100% vaccination of eligible age group.<br />''<br />''Mr. Nadda is on a three-day visit to Himachal Pradesh from today.
