BJP gives notices in both Houses of Parliament for setting up JPC to probe 2-G, CWG & Adarsh Housing scams

The BJP has given notices for the setting up of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe the 2G spectrum allocation, Commonwealth Games and Adarsh Housing Society scams. The notices were given by Mrs Sushma Swaraj in the Lok Sabha and Mr Arun Jaitley in the Rajya Sabha.Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Party spokesman, Mr S S Ahluwalia said that all these scams run into thousands of crores of rupees. Alleging that the institutions like CBI and Central Vigilance Commissions are being misused, therefore the party is demanding probe by JPC.Replying to a question, Mr Ahluwalia said the party will continue to press for the demand till the government agrees to do so. He said the BJP's Parliamentary Party, which met this morning, has decided to take up the issue of Corruption and Kashmir during the session.
