The BJP has formed a six-member committee of Union Ministers and MPs to visit Sandeshkhali in West Bengal on Friday to collect information about the alleged incidents of violence against women there. Union Minister Annapurna Devi has been named as the convenor of the high-level committee. Other members of the panel are another Central Minister, Pratima Bhowmik and BJP MPs Sunita Duggal, Kavita Patidar, Sangeeta Yadav, and Brijlal. They will go to Sandeshkhali on the same day.  They will visit the incident site, take stock of the situation, talk to the victims, and submit their report to BJP Party President JP Nadda. BJP president JP Nadda has strongly condemned the incident of atrocities on women at Sandeshkhali.<br />''<br />''Earlier, the leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, along with four legislators, were detained by the police at Rampur village en route to Sandeshkhali. The policeman allegedly assaulted him as staged a sit-in protest in Rampur along with the legislators.
