In Karnataka, BJP has lodged a complaint with the State Chief Electoral Officer against AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, for what it said, violated the model code of conduct. BJP leader Suresh Kumar told reporters in Bangalore that Kejriwal used defamatory, derogatory, bad and intemperate language against Narendra Modi. This, he said, amounts to punishment under Representation of Peoples Act.
