The BJP has alleged that apart from incompetence and lack of leadership, the rampant corruption at all levels in government is the main reason for the spiraling prices in the country. Former Finance minister Yashwant Sinha presented a resolution on economy and price on the concluding day of BJP national council meet at Indore today. The Resolution states that the BJP expresses its gravest concern at the ever spiraling price in the country and the complete failure of the Congress led UPA government at the centre to control it. Addressing the party National council Yashwant Sinha said the government has been offering one alibi after another for price rise. He said if government has sufficient stock of food grains then it should flood the market with supplies to control inflation. He alleged government lacks leadership and coordination to do so.<br/><br/>Senior party leader Venkiah Naidu said the BJP will oppose religion based reservation tooth and nail as it will sow the seeds of another partition and disturb social harmony in the country. He said founders of constitution and Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi were against religion based reservation. Mr. Naidu said that the implementation of Rangnath Mishra recommendations will be an injustice with the Sheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribd and that reservation to converts will promote conversion.
