BJP has expelled senior advocate and MP Ram Jethmalani from the primary membership of the party for six years for breach of discipline. A decision in this regard was taken by the party's Parliamentary Board at its meeting held under the chairmanship of party President Rajnath Singh in New Delhi yesterday.
Earlier, Mr. Jethmalani was suspended from the party for making allegations against the functionaries of the party. In a letter to Jethmalani, BJP General Secretary, Anant Kumar said, the Parliamentary Board after considering all replies from him, was of the unanimous opinion that he has indulged in breach of party discipline.
