In Uttarakhand, former Tourism Minister T P S Rawat has been suspended from the state's ruling Bhartiya Janta Party for six years for his alleged anti-party activities. According to our Dehradun correspondent, Mr. Rawat who was earlier in Congress, had recently floated Uttarakhand Raksha Morcha, which was repeatedly raising alleged corruption scandals involving the BJP government in the state.
