BJP has dismissed the Congress claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party President Amit Shah have any link with Mahesh Shah, who had recently declared unaccounted income of over 1,300 crore rupees. <br/><br/>The party dared the opposition party to prove the allegation threatening it will contemplate legal action if Congress continues with such baseless charges. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi, senior party leader and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said the Congress is in the habit of making false allegations as it is upset over government's action against the black money hoarders and corrupt people.<br/><br/>He also rejected the charges of selective action after the demonetization saying the government is acting against every corrupt person without shielding anyone. Mr. Prasad also denied the reports that Amit Shah has any connection with a co-operative bank in Ahmedabad, where a big amount was reportedly deposited after demonetization. <br/><br/>Another Union Minister Piyush Goyal termed the Congress charges as baseless that three crore rupees were transfered to UP BJP Unit in cash. Saying that the party should learn lesson from repeated defeats in the polls, Mr. Goyal alleged that Congress is adopting hit and run tactics.
