BJP leader Arun Jaitley has denied any rift between the senior party leader L K Advani and Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi. He was briefing media in New Delhi today at the end of the two-day National Executive meeting of party.
Jaitley said an uneasy truce exists between Finance Minister and the Home Minister on the 2G spectrum issue.
He charged the UPA government with failure in dealing with corruption, price rise and terrorism.
Earlier, speaking at the executive meeting, senior party leader L K Advani asked partymen to gear up for polls. Advani, who is set to take out a yatra from 11th of this month said that the party will strive to create awareness among the people bout corruption and price rise.
AIR correspondent reports, the conclave discussed the strategy for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and Punjab. A resolution on the current political situation was passed at the two-day meeting. The economic scenario in the country also came up for discussion.
