BJP today demanded to revoke the decision to ban the export of cotton. The party has observed the decision as anti-farmer and unilateral. Senior Party leader Venkaiah Naidu said that the move has resulted in drastic fall in prices of cotton in the domestic market.

According to an official release, he also demanded compensation for the farmers who suffered losses because of the ban on exports.
