BJP today demanded a thorough inquiry into the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society controversy in Mumbai. BJP spokesperson Tarun Vijay said in New Delhi that all allotments should be cancelled and guilty be punished. The 31 storey Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society is allegedly built on a land originally meant for a six storey structure to house Kargil war heroes and widows.The spokes man expressed party's happiness over Karnataka High Court's decision to upheld disqualification of 11 BJP MLAs. He also welcomed Gujarat High Court's decision to grant bail to former Minister of state for Home, Amit Shah.
