BJP has demanded a separate package for the cloud burst affected farmers and small scale traders of Ladakh. Party spokesperson Prakash Javdhekar said that BJP has demanded the government to provide a sustainable monthly allowance of 2000 thousand rupees for the affected families so that they could meet their basic requirements while normalizing their livelihood before winters. He appreciated the work done by the army but also alleged the centre government for spending more in advertisement than in relief package.
