BJP today demanded immediate roll back of the Government decisions on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in retail sector. Addressing a Press Conference in New Delhi, senior party leader Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi said that this will create far more unemployment than creating new jobs.

He further said that the retail sector is in India is growing at a very large rate and it is the second largest employment generators after agriculture. He also added that the experience of other countries like Canada, Denmark and Indonesia had been unpleasant.
