In Orissa, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today demanded resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over the multi-crore mining scam and large-scale suicide by farmers. The party alleged that 27 farmers have committed suicide in last few days following crop loss and unable to pay back loans.<br/>A huge rally by BJP workers was organised at Bhubaneswar today demanding resignation of Chief Minister Patnaik. Police arrested a large number of party workers for trying to forcefully enter into the Orissa Assembly.<br/>
