In Orissa, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today demanded resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over the multi-crore mining scam and large-scale suicide by farmers. The party alleged that 27 farmers have committed suicide in last few days following crop loss and unable to pay back loans.A huge rally by BJP workers was organised at Bhubaneswar today demanding resignation of Chief Minister Patnaik. Police arrested a large number of party workers for trying to forcefully enter into the Orissa Assembly.
