The BJP today demanded a CBI inquiry into the scandal related to the Public Distribution System (PDS) in Arunachal Pradesh.The alleged scandal named former Chief Minister Gegong Apang, Pema Khandu son of present Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu and 94 others including four sitting MLAs. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, the party spokesperson, Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman said that the scandal is related to distribution of foodgrains through the PDS and It is estimated that the extent of fraud may run into 1,000 crore rupees.
