BJP delegation meets EC, raises issues of violence against BJP workers in West Bengal

A BJP delegation today met the Election Commission in New Delhi and raised the issues of violence against BJP workers in West Bengal in the last few days and demanded deployment of central forces in the State. <br />''<br />''Speaking to media after the meeting, party General Secretary Bhupender Yadav said, the paramilitary forces should be designated within polling booths to check voters' IDs. He said, party MP Arjun Singh's house and other workers were attacked in West Bengal. <br />''<br />''Mr Yadav said, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is running misinformation campaign and hurling false allegations against BJP leaders especially the Home Minister. He alleged that Ms Banerjee has insulted the Election Commission by claiming that it is working as per BJP orders.
