BJP today justified the online petition of the industrialists deploring the disruptions in Parliament and demanding that both the Houses be allowed to function. Reacting to objections raised by opposition parties, BJP leader and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the industrialists are also the citizens of this country and they have every right to comment. <br/><br/>Stating that there was a consensus on the passage of the GST bill in the Rajya Sabha, Mr Pradhan said except Congress, all other opposition parties have agreed to pass it. Mr. Pradhan alleged that the Congress, which had derailed the country's economic growth during its regime, is now trying to do so by blocking the GST bill.<br/><br/>The country's leading industrialists including Adi Godrej, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Rahul Bajaj have signed an online petition demanding that both the Houses be allowed to function, debate and legislate on the GST Bill.
