BJP defends its by-election losses; Congress accuses NDA of not fulfill promises

BJP has criticized the Congress for accusing the NDA government of failing to fulfill the promises made during poll campaign saying the opposition party is still not ready to accept the debacle in the Lok Sabha elections.

Talking to AIR, party spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said that government has taken several measures to curb price rise and bring black money back in the country.

He said Modi government has cut the petrol price recently which brought a big relief to the common man and it is also going to decrease the price of diesel in the coming days.

Hussain alleged that Congress is only opposing the government for the sake of opposition that is why people have taught the lesson in the Lok Sabha polls.

Congress has accused the NDA government of failing to fulfill its promises like controlling price rise during first 100 days of its rule.

A booklet released today on government’s performance during the period, said nothing concrete has been done to bring back black money, curb crimes against women and improve both internal and external security.

The party demanded that BJP should apologize to the people for misleading them. It said, the ruling party sole aim was to capture power at any cost.
