BJP today declared name of candidates for by-elections to four Lok Sabha seats and nine assembly constituencies in different states. Party has given ticket to Gyan Singh from Shahdol Parliamentary constituency in Madhya Pradesh, Hem Chandra Burman from Coochbehar and Ambuj Mohanti from Tamluk seat while Pradhan Baruah will contest from Lakhimpur Lok Sabha seat vacated by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. <br/><br/>Party has also announced candidates for three assembly seats in Tamil Nadu, two in Tripura and one each in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. It has fielded former Arunchal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul's wife Dasanglu Pul from the state's Hayuliang assembly seat where the by-election is necessitated following his death.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Congress has also declared its candidates for two Lok Sabha seats and one assembly seats in West Bengal.It has fielded Partha Pratim Isore from Coochbehar and Partha Batabyal from Tamluk. It also announced name of the candidates for one assembly seat in Assam and two in Tripura.<br/><br/>The polling for these Lok Sabha and assembly seats is scheduled to be held on 19th and counting will take place on 22nd of next month.
