BJP today condemned the reported statement of Environment Minister Mr. Jairam Ramesh for lobbying for Chinese Company instead of putting forth the view of government.<br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, the Party Spokesman, Mr. Prakash Javdekar said that Minister's statement in the foreign land tarnishes the image of the government. He said that the Prime Minister should explain for the conduct of his cabinet colleague over the issue.<br/><br/>The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh today talked to the environment Minister Jairam Ramesh after he made certain remarks during his China visit. Press reports say that Mr. Ramesh was critical about the home and defence ministries in Beijing.<br/>
