Senior BJP leader Dhananjaya Kumar has claimed that 11 BJP MLAs, whose disqualification by Karnataka Assembly Speaker was quashed by the Supreme Court, have extended their unconditional support to the Yeddyurappa Government. Mr Kumar said in New Delhi yesterday that a letter signed by these MLAs has been faxed to the Governor HR Bhardwaj. BJP MP Ayanur Manjunath also confirmed that rebel BJP MLAs have extended their unconditional support to the state government. Earlier yesterday, Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that there is no need for a trust vote in the backdrop of the Supreme Court restoring the membership of 11 BJP and five independents.
