BJP charges Congress Govt with striking deal in Anderson's safe passage

The BJP today charged the then Congress government with striking a deal to ensure safe passage of the former CEO of the Union Carbide, Warren Anderson and asked the government to clarify. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Party Spokesman, Mr Shanwaz Hussain, quoted a media report in this regard saying that the deal was struck to ensure the release of the son of a senior congress leader from a case in a US court. <br/><br/>Referring to the recommendations of the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Bhopal Gas tragedy, Mr Hussain said no responsibility has been fixed for the people responsible for the safe passage to Warren Anderson from India. He said the government has not clarified the issue despite its repeated demand by the opposition.
