The visit of BJP central observers to Mumbai has been postponed. Home Minister Rajnath Singh disclosed this at a function in New Delhi this morning.
Mr. Singh and JP Nadda were supposed to visit Mumbai today to decide the names of legislature party leaders in Maharashtra. The newly elected BJP MLAs will now meet after Diwali festival to elect their leader.
The Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu and party leader Dinesh Sharma will, however, visit Chandigarh today as scheduled.
In Haryana, party leader Manohar Lal Khattar, state unit chief Ram Bilas Sharma and Capt Abhimanyu are in the race for the top post.
