<span style="color: #222222;">BJP is celebrating Social Justice Fortnight from 7th to 20th of April and today's focus is on Jal Jeevan Mission. Briefing media in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said, when BJP &nbsp;came to power in 2014, only 16.75 per cent of the households had tap water facility. Now after the start of the Jal Jeevan Mission the number has increased to 48.62 per cent. Mr. Trivedi said, tap water facility had reached 9.4 crore households by 7th of April. The Spokesperson said, 40 thousand crore rupees were allocated for Jal Jeevan Mission in 2021-22, whereas in the budget of 2022-23, the allocation has been increased to 60 thousand crore rupees.<br />'' <br />''He said, the BJP Government at the Centre has been successful in providing tap water to every household in 1.5 lakh villages in 107 districts of the country. Mr. Trivedi said, tap water is also reaching 17.39 lakh schools and Anganwadi centers. He said, 4.82 lakh water committees have been formed for drinking water supply.&nbsp;</span>
