BJP calls for unified strategy against maoists

Bharatiya Janta Party today called upon the center and the states to work out a unified strategy against Maoists. A resolution to this effect was approved in the BJP central office bearers meeting held in New Delhi. <br/><br/>Briefing the reporter the party general secretary Ananth Kumar said that the para-millitary forces have to be strengthened, modernised and equipped with adequate fire power under a time bound programme. He said that the attack on the security forces is a challenge to the patriotic and nationalist forces of India.<br/><br/>Speaking on the issue of Nuclear Civil Liability Bill and foreign university Bill, Mr. Kumar said that the government is adopting hide and seek policy in this regard. He said the party will also organise a rally on 21st of this month in protest against price rise of essential commodities.<br/>
