BJP attacks 'save democracy march' of Congress

Hitting back at Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi, BJP today questioned how action against corruption in AgustaWestland deal is anti-national and anti-democracy. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi, senior party leader and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said now Congress is talking about the democracy but country knows how it had muzzled it on several occasion including during emergency. He said today's march at Jantar Mantar, was an attempt to save Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. He also questioned why Ms. Gandhi is afraid of fair probe into irregularities in VVIP chopper deal and she should answer how every scam knocks at the door of Congress. <br/><br/>Mr. Prasad said regardless of what Cong is alleging, the government will proceed in the case in a fair manner. The BJP leader added NDA government is committed for democracy and fight against corruptions. <br/><br/>Earlier, Ms Gandhi had alleged that NDA government is murdering democracy and unleashing a campaign of baseless allegations against the opposition.
